Fundamental Informations
Okja Label Principles
For Poultry and Eggs
Any type of bird needs to be able to run freely outside a stable and not be kept in battery-farming conditions, their running ground has to be soil, grass and not concrete or stone.
For Beef
Cows must have a space of at least 5m², bulls 1m²/100kg. All calfs need to remain with their mother and be raised by them as they would be naturally.
For Pork
Pigs need to be able to have enough space so all pigs in a stable are able to stretch out in their natural laying position. They need to have a field to roam and an area directly connected to their stable that they are always able to go to.
